This is the sequel to the band's first compilation album Miscellaneous T which came out in 1991. It compiled B-sides from the band's first two albums but it's really an American version of a European release called Don't Let's Start which came out two years earlier and features one fewer track. It was released because 1991 had been a slow year for the band who still wanted to release something. This album picks up where that one left off with B-sides from the band's major label era starting with Flood in 1990 to Factory Showroom in 1996. The album was supposed to have been released around this time but never did as the group focused their efforts on Then: The Earlier Years instead comprising of more of their earlier material.
The band planned on releasing it as a double disc with B-sides on one disc and remixes on the other. There was a fan-made version of this that existed in 1999, but the first disc included three remix tracks as well as some other tracks which I opted to exclude. It's also a single disc.
