Traveling Wilburys - Volume 4½ (1992)

1. Poor Little Girl - George Harrison
2. Out in the Cold - Tom Petty
3. Don't Let Go - Jeff Lynne
4. A Love So Beautiful - Roy Orbison
5. Shooting Star - Bob Dylan
6. Cockamamie Business - George Harrison
7. Zombie Zoo - Tom Petty
8. What Would It Take? - Jeff Lynne
9. The Only One - Roy Orbison
10. 2 × 2 - Bob Dylan

When I was making the last two Traveling Wilburys albums, I had to listen to 7 albums by 6 lead singers! And that's a lot of material so obviously there were a lot of good tracks I had to cut out. But honestly, I think I'd be ok with not using the Del Shannon album. I was alright with using it for the last one, but he was never an official member and I just found his falsetto vocals to be the most annoying. Also I felt like since George didn't release an album around this time I haven't been including as many of his songs, which kind of sucks cause the project was his whole idea. I think Bob was the only one still releasing solo music around this time so let's just apply Joy Division's rules. They broke up in 1991 so we won't use any solo material that's past that. The cover came from a bootleg but I'd like to think George would've called it that as a joke similar to Volume 3 being the second album. George's songs come from a compilation album he had.

Traveling Wilburys - Volume 4 (1991)

1. Learning to Fly - Tom Petty
2. Every Little Thing - Jeff Lynne
3. Under the Red Sky - Bob Dylan
4. Callin' Out My Name - Del Shannon
5. Nobody's Child - Hank Snow (all sing)
6. Into the Great Wide Open - Tom Petty
7. Lift Me Up - Jeff Lynne
8. Unbelievable - Bob Dylan
9. Lost in a Memory - Del Shannon
10. Cheer Down - George Harrison

The Traveling Wilburys' second album was also their last. With the death of Roy Orbison after recording the first album, they recorded the second one as a four piece. They wanted to bring in Del Shannon as a new fifth member, but he would pass away in 1990. He did also have a posthumous album in 1991 though, and it was his first in a decade. Not only that but we also have Bob Dylan's Under the Red Sky, Tom Petty's Into the Great Wide Open, and Jeff Lynne with his first solo album Armchair Theatre. The second album had two bonus tracks but they were both covers so I included one of them and one George song from Lethal Weapon 2.

Traveling Wilburys - Volume 2 (1989)

1. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty
2. You Got It - Roy Orbison
3. Political World - Bob Dylan
4. Maxine - George Harrison
5. I Won't Back Down - Tom Petty
6. (All I Can Do is) Dream You - Roy Orbison
7. Everything is Broken - Bob Dylan
8. Runnin' Down a Dream - Tom Petty
9. California Blue - Roy Orbison
10. Like a Ship - Bob Dylan

The Traveling Wilburys were a British-American supergroup that released two albums. The original line-up consisted of George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison, but Roy passed away after recording the first album. He did however release a posthumous album, and when they released their second album, they called it Volume 3 as a joke. This is an idea that I've seen on a couple other blogs, but it could theoretically mean that there could be a second volume in between. Along with the Orbison record, there was also Bob Dylan's Oh Mercy and Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever, but I also used two first album bonus tracks.

The Beach Boys - Smile (1967)

Side A: 1. Our Prayer 2. Heroes and Villains 3. Do You Like Worms? 4. I'm in Great Shape / Barnyard / My Only Sunshine 5. Child is Fathe...
