Prince was working on two double album projects in 1986, Dream Factory and Crystal Ball. After submitting a triple album version of his Crystal Ball album, the label made him cut it down to a double album and he released it under the name Sign O' the Times in 1987. However he cut out a whole other double album worth of outtakes. He would later make another album called The Black Album that was supposed to release that year, but he pulled it at the last minute and released Lovesexy the following year. It would later get released in 1994. Prince would also later release a triple album in 1996 and another one of outtakes called Crystal Ball in 1998. The version of Teacher, Teacher is an outtake of 1999 from 1982.

From the Cream Corn From the Socket of Davis EP:
1. Moving to Florida
2. Comb
3. Hetero Skeleton
4. Eindhoven Chicken Masque

Last year I saw someone wearing a shirt with this cover on it. I don't think he realized how obscure this album is but he said he got it from Supreme. I think the movie Nope helped bring the Butthole Surfers to more people's attention. But is it worth re-evaluating? I listened to it a couple times but never got into it. It was weird but not so bad it's good like their next album. Recently though I found some outtakes from the Humpty Dumpty LSD compilation and thought it could be re-organized. Eindhoven Chicken Masque was from a compilation album called God's Favorite Dog. There was another track by them on the album that I decided to not use. I also didn't use a track called Perry Intro from Humpty Dumpty.

Bruce Springsteen - Pink Cadillac (1986)

Side A:
1. My Love Will Not Let You Down
2. Cynthia
3. This Hard Land
4. Frankie

Side B:
5. TV Movie
6. A Good Man is Hard to Find (Pittsburgh)
7. Lion's Den
8. Car Wash
9. Man at the Top
10. Pink Cadillac
11. Janey, Don’t You Lose Heart

When Bruce Springsteen was working on his box set Tracks in 1998, he totaled the number of unreleased songs he wrote at 350. Three of his albums had more than 50 songs written for them, but the box set spanned across his whole discography up to that point. Eventually it was cut down to 66 songs on four CDs. A single CD version was also released called 18 Tracks which contained three songs not included on the box set. Since then box sets were made focusing on two of the big three and various other outtakes were spread across other compilations, but one was never made for outtakes of Born in the U.S.A.

The box set contains most of these outtakes on disc 3 with some of them on disc 2, but there are enough tracks to make an single disc out of with 17 tracks in total. I found a couple more outtakes on various compilation albums but I just wanted to focus on these 17. It seems that the previous album Nebraska was recorded at the same time as Born in the U.S.A. so maybe Bruce had so much good material that he wanted to release it on three albums.

The Who - Empty Glass (1981)
